Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks has had a banner season and has given fans of the team something to be very excited about.
Brunson has posted 23.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.2 assists a game since starting with the Knicks in October.
After a summer with some doubt about what he’d achieve in New York, Brunson has made the Big Apple brighter.

Because of his stellar season with the Knicks, many people expected he’d be welcomed to his first All-Star Game this year.
He certainly received his fair share of votes but it wasn’t enough and the absence of Brunson in the game was considered a snub by a lot of people.
Since the All-Star rosters were revealed, Brunson has been on a mission: he has averaged 30.9 points and 6.3 assists while shooting at 53.7%.
Brunson was recently asked if the All-Star snub has given him some sort of motivation to play harder or better and he was blunt and to the point with his response: “No. Not at all.”
Brunson says he isn’t bothered by the snub which means that his recent output is just a sign of his natural skill and desire to win.
Even with the power of Brunson, this season has been complicated for the Knicks.
They are hanging in there with the seventh seed in the East but they aren’t surging as fans wanted.
Perhaps the recent addition of Josh Hart will help their chances.
Brunson is wildly excited to play alongside Hart, who he attended Villanova with.
During this first season in New York, Brunson has turned many heads, attracted a lot of new fans, and almost got his first All-Star appearance.
And it’s clear he isn’t slowing down at all.
