The Sacramento Kings are currently 4-6, the 11th seed in the West and still struggling to break through.
They are doing better than some people expected and doing worse than some fans had hoped.
The most important thing about this current team is that they are showing promise under new head coach Mike Brown.
If the Kings want to end their playoff drought, they should move to Baltimore & bump the Bulls to the Western Conference.

Yet, the struggles continue.
NBA writer John Schuhmann came up with a pretty striking, smart, but unlikely plan for the Kings: they simply need to move to the other conference.
“If the Kings want to end their playoff drought, they should move to Baltimore & bump the Bulls to the Western Conference,” Schuhmann said on Twitter.
Why?
Because “The Kings are 4-1 against the East & 0-5 against the West.”
Sure enough, the Kings are having a lot more luck against their Eastern rivals than those in the West.
The Kings Coming Together
The Kings have had some painful losses this season, like a questionable, controversial one against the Golden State Warriors the other night.
But they have also had some good nights too, like when they beat the Miami Heat at the end of October and the surging Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
This shows that they have a lot of talent, skill, and promise.
They just need to build upon that.
The question is how quickly they can convert all of that potential into a string of big wins.
In the days ahead, the team is facing off against the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, San Antonio Spurs, and Detroit Pistons.
They can certainly pick off a few wins in those matches and continue to build their future.
