All NBA fans are watching the FIBA Basketball World Cup to get a good look at some of the best players in the league fighting hard for their home countries.
There is a lot of conversation about who the greatest player in the tournament is.
NBA star Theo Pinson believes the Dallas Mavericks’ biggest star is the best of the best.
“There’s been a debate on who’s the best player [in the FIBA World Cup]. I don’t think it’s really a big debate: Luka [Doncic] is the best player,” Pinson said to Tidal League, via ClutchPoints.

Pinson touched upon a recent play from Doncic during a warm-up game against Japan in the lead-up to the World Cup.
During that game, Doncic wowed the crowd with a wild behind-the-back pass to his Slovenian teammate on the perimeter.
Pinson said that the play was hard to believe, an amazing testament to Doncic’s skills.
The fact that he tried it and the fact that it found his teammate – plus the fact that Japan couldn’t deflect it – all speaks to Doncic’s astonishing ability on the court.
Since then, Team Slovenia has found a lot of success in the World Cup and is on its way to the second round.
Doncic is, of course, at the center of the team’s victories.
Although Pinson believes that Doncic is the best player in the tournament, he is going to have a lot of competition.
Players from all over the globe are fighting hard and doing all they can for their teams.
Doncic might end up on top and could lead his team to the championship but it won’t be easy.
