Michael Jordan’s legacy has expanded far beyond his on-court abilities.
While he is considered one of the greatest NBA athletes in history, his shoe company continues to take off.
They are continually regarded as one of the best brands in the industry.
When Jordan Brand gives a contract to an athlete, it’s a sign they believe in that player’s abilities to represent the brand with integrity.
According to Mark Stein via NBA Retweet, Jordan has recently re-signed Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic to a deal through 2029.

This ties Doncic to Jordan for the next six years, slated to be the prime of his career.
Doncic is entering his sixth NBA season armed with this new extension.
He is tied to the Mavericks through the 2026-2027 season, where he has a player option, according to Spotrac.
The 24-year-old phenom has been a breath of fresh air for the Mavericks, who have struggled since the departure of Dirk Nowitzki.
They have made it to the playoffs three times in Doncic’s tenure, a sign he’s able to bring them success in the regular season.
After missing the playoffs last year, many have questioned the team’s chemistry.
The organization brought in Kyrie Irving last season, a controversial move at the time.
If he and Doncic can get on the same page, the Mavericks could bounce back in the 2023-2024 season, given the current state of the Western Conference.
There are a lot of unresolved questions for the Mavericks heading into a new year.
Will the combination of Irving and Doncic provide the results the team is seeking?
