This was the last thing the Clippers needed this season.
They are in the middle of a playoff chase, and George is their second-best player.
He plays a major role on both sides of the floor, and losing him would be a major blow for the Clippers.
On the season, George is averaging 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.
Also, he is tied for 12th in the league in steals per game with 1.5.
The Clippers’ championship hopes are gone if George cannot return from this injury.
The Western Conference is too strong that you will need multiple All-Stars to lead your team through the conference.
We have seen George suffer a major injury before, and he returned better than ever.
So, there is no reason to believe he cannot do that again.
Keep an eye on what happens to the Clippers without their All-Star.
It seems likely they will fall the standings, and might even be a one-and-done in the playoffs.
This is a tough blow for George and the Clippers.
If the injury is as bad as it looked, the Clippers might have to start looking toward next season.
