The New York Knicks have been one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference this season.
They currently have the fourth-best record in the East and are within striking distance of the No. 2 seed in the conference.
While many players on this roster make a difference each night, Jalen Brunson is often touted as their best player.
Brunson currently averages 27.6 points per game, leading their team, and is among the best points per game averages in the NBA.
Insider Adrian Wojnarowski recently appeared on “NBA Countdown,” discussing Brunson’s brilliance for the Knicks.
“He has been the most impactful free agent, certainly, maybe, in the past decade of the NBA,” Wojnarowski said.
Woj believes that Jalen Brunson is the most impactful NBA free agent signing in the last decade, aside from LeBron James and Kevin Durant 👀

Wojnarowski believes that only LeBron James and Kevin Durant have significantly impacted their respective teams, putting Brunson in elite territory.
Brunson was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks and played for them for the first four seasons of his career.
While he was a good player for the Mavericks, he was never able to fully unlock his skillset, especially since he was competing with Luka Doncic to be the star of the team.
Brunson certainly has some good teammates on the Knicks, which includes Julius Randle, but at this point in the season, it is clear that he is the team’s leader.
As Wojnarowski said of Brunson, “Everything falls into place around him.”
Can Brunson help lead the Knicks on a meaningful playoff run this year?
