The Phoenix Suns find themselves in serious trouble.
They have lost the first two games of their Western Conference semifinal series against the Denver Nuggets.
Now they have to play the next few games without point guard Chris Paul.
Paul suffered a groin strain in their Game 2 loss, and he will miss one week.
According to Shams Charania, Paul will most likely miss Games 3-5, if not more.

There is definitely a lot of uncertainty about his status for the rest of this series"@ShamsCharania #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/O1T8F6PLjT

The Suns head home for Games 3 and 4, and those are must-wins for them.
With Paul out, you can expect that Phoenix will rely even more on Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.
Those two will have the ball in their hands at all times, and they will need to be making shots.
The Suns already have no depth with Paul in the lineup, so now they are in even more trouble without him.
Cameron Payne will have to start for the Suns, and they might even have to go deeper into their bench.
While Paul was struggling to make shots, he is still reliable as a ball-handler and passer.
Groin strains are a tough injury to come back from, especially in only one week.
If Paul is out for the rest of the series, the Suns might be as good as gone.
This has been a common occurrence with Paul throughout his career.
It seems like every postseason he gets injured at the worst time.
With their backs against the wall, it will be interesting to see how the Suns respond.
All the pressure will be on Booker and Durant to carry their team over the next three games.
