It sounds like we have seen Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers play his last game of the season.
Leonard has missed the last two games to yet another injury and his absence from the team will continue, according to Shams Charania.
“Kawhi Leonard will be out for Game 5, this is gonna be his third straight game missed tonight,” Charania said on FanDuel TV on Tuesday morning.
He talked about how disappointing this situation is because the Clippers “have only had one healthy playoff run with both Kawhi and Paul George, that came in 2020 in the bubble.”
As noted by Charania, that run was cut short due to a loss to the Denver Nuggets.

“It’ll be curious to see how they handle the summer,” Charania said, suggesting what many other people are thinking: the Clippers might be done with Leonard.
Like the New Orleans Pelicans, the Clippers’ front office needs to decide what they are going to do with their star player who cannot catch a break.
There is no doubt that Leonard is one of the best players in the league when he is healthy.
The problem is that he can’t seem to stay that way.
Despite tons of load management and careful scheduling throughout the regular season, Leonard is now on the bench as his team needs him the most and sits on the brink of elimination.
The Clippers were smart when they made the blockbuster deal that brought them both Leonard and George.
But they have only had one playoff run together during their time in LA.
The Clippers wanted this roster to work but the injuries have made that impossible.
Therefore, everyone is wondering if they will cut their losses and start a new chapter.NEXT: Paul George Makes His Thoughts Clear About Staying Healthy
