Once again, the Boston Celtics have come storming into the season and have found a lot of early success.
They are currently the best team in the East with a 15-5 record, just ahead of the Orlando Magic and Milwaukee Bucks.
But does the team want to make some changes in the near future?
That’s a possibility, according to Shams Charania, per NBACentral.
“I expect the Celtics to be active in the trade market as we get close to February,” Charania said on Run It Back.

With such a good record, why would the Celtics try to make changes and possibly send away some of the talent that has gotten them this far?
There are several reasons, including Boston’s need to keep improving its bench.
The Celtics are clearly one of the best teams in the league but they are lacking when it comes to depth in certain ways.
For example, the team’s frontcourt is led by Kristaps Porzingis but not many players can provide him ample backup.
If Porzingis and Al Horford get hurt, that could spell certain doom for the Celtics’ defense and power in the paint.
Fans of the league are well aware that both Porzingis and Horford have a troubling history of getting hurt.
In fact, Porzingis recently missed a few games although he is expected back with the team this week.
Who would the Celtics be aiming for and what would they be willing to give up to get them?
They could trade away players or draft picks to reach their goals.
Celtics mastermind Brad Stevens has shown that he isn’t afraid of making significant, surprising moves and it sounds like he will continue to do that soon.
