The Brooklyn Nets have secured a few impressive wins lately, including one against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.
There was one major part of their lineup missing as they took down the top team in the West: Ben Simmons.
Simmons hasn’t played with his team since February 15 as he deals with back and knee soreness.
Now it is being reported that there is no timetable for his return because of these problems.

This is just the latest setback for Simmons, who missed all of last season and has delivered minimal results this year for the Nets while suffering numerous injuries and sitting out plenty of games.
Walker wasn’t the only fan who could hardly believe this development.
One fan joked, “BEN SIMMONS…YOU ARE A SHANGHAI SHARK.”

Meanwhile, there were others who have completely moved on from Simmons because he has been so inconsequential for the team.

He’s not the only one asking that.
There have been numerous people who have wondered if Simmons will just decide to hang it up after this season.
Two things have been made clear this season: Simmons has multiple health issues that remain a problem and he isn’t playing with any sort of urgency.
Something will have to change in the next few months.
Simmons will need to convince the Nets that he still wants to play or else they are going to cut ties with the former number-one draft pick.
