The Boston Celtics are steamrolling past their opposition.
Joe Mazzulla’s team has been the best in the league by a significant margin.
It’s not just that they’re winning games; it’s that they’re dominating and winning by a margin, regardless of who’s on the floor, who’s the opponent, or whether they’re playing at home or on the road.
That was on full display again on Saturday night, as they traveled to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bulls without Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis, and they still beat them by double digits.
Granted, the Bulls have been a bad team for most of the season, and beating them is far from impressive.
Then again, we’re talking about a team that has now won nine consecutive games without much opposition (via Legion Hoops).
The Celtics have now won 9 straight games.

The Celtics secured a winning season before the All-Star break, and they’ve been a lock to run away with the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference for quite a while now.
However, even if they’re giving some of their starters some well-deserved rest, they continue to put their foot on the gas.
It’s been quite a while since the Celtics last won an NBA championship; over 15 years, to be more accurate.
That was their only ring since the Larry Bird era.
That sounds crazy coming from one of the most historical franchises in sports, and that’s why they cannot rest and must continue pushing to go into the playoffs in a rhythm.
