The NBA has decided that it is going to fine both Dillon Brooks and Ime Udoka of the Houston Rockets for their recent actions toward game officials the other night.
The league announced that Brooks will be fined $35,000 and Udoka has been charged $25,000 for “directing inappropriate language toward a game official.”
Brooks’ charges were higher because he also publicly lambasted the referees.

The other night, both Brooks and Udoka had very emotional reactions when referees didn’t blow a whistle during the final moments of a game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Brooks questioned the choice by the refs and then Udoka joined him.
After pursuing referee Suyash Mehta, both were given technical fouls and ejected from the game.
This isn’t the first time that Brooks or Udoka have gotten in trouble with refs or the league, and it likely won’t be the last time either.
They are both known as impassioned, hot-headed figures so they could pay more to the league in the weeks and months ahead.
As for the Rockets, they have experienced their fair share of wins and losses this year.
They have a 13-11 record and are currently the ninth team in the West.
That’s a lot better than they were last year and Houston has shown they are a team to watch, full of explosive energy and youth.
The Rockets were on a five-game winning streak but have lost their last two games, against the Bucks and then the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.
Now that this incident is behind them, Brooks and Udoka will attempt to score a few more wins before Christmas.
They next face the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night and are hoping to start another winning streak.
