It’s been quite a few days for the Golden State Warriors.
The reigning champions should be giddy right now because they haven’t changed too much in the offseason and are positioned to have another terrific season.
Instead, they are dealing with scandal.
Just the other day, news broke of Draymond Green and Jordan Poole getting into a fight on the court of a practice session.
The story has looked very bad for Green and the team and has diverted all attention from the squad attempting to win back-to-back Finals.
The Celtics and Warriors have had one hell of an end to their offseasons.

If the team wants advice about how to get through this, they would be smart to seek advice from the team they just beat in the Finals: the Boston Celtics.
As Keith Smith put it, “The Celtics and Warriors have had one hell of an and to their offseasons.”
He’s not wrong: both teams have suffered a lot of drama that doesn’t have a thing to do with basketball but rather the personal failings of the men involved with the team.
How does this all impact their chances?
What A Week For The Warriors
Sure, the Green situation is messy and embarrassing, and bad for a number of reasons.
However, this doesn’t have to affect their shot at returning to the Finals.
In all likelihood, Green and Poole will make nice and put this behind them and the Warriors will still be the most intimidating team in the West.
The Celtics can also push through their struggles with head coach Ime Udoka and remain contenders for a strong postseason.
Both of these incidents do not impair their ability to win games but they do mess with their mindsets.
As we have seen in the past, mentality can definitely affect teams.
Will it affect these two?
