This has not been the season that people expected from Ben Simmons of the Brooklyn Nets.
With a lacking 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game average, Simmons has not been the dominant and crucial part of the Nets’ lineup as some fans had anticipated.
In fact, he has been inconsequential countless times as other players on the roster have risen through the ranks and proved just how important they are.
While appearing on FanDuel TV, former NBA player Chandler Parsons talked about Simmons and the road ahead.
According to Parsons, things don’t look great for the former number one overall draft pick.
“He’s most likely a minimum player for the rest of his career…”@ChandlerParsons on Ben Simmons 👀

Parsons touched upon the fact that Simmons seemingly has a mental block that is preventing him from reaching his athletic potential once again.
He predicts a future in which Simmons is offered a buyout from the Nets and becomes a “minimum player for the rest of his career.”
That’s a harsh estimation from Parsons but he’s not the first one to make it.
Again and again this year, people have said that Simmons’ future within the league could be lackluster and disappointing.
At this point, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Nets craft a contract buyout for Simmons as soon as possible.
Rumors have swirled about the front office wanting to cut ties with him as quickly as they can.
The big question around Simmons is where he will land next.
Will he find a place on another team in the league or will he move overseas?
Is there still a chance of redemption for Simmons even though nearly everyone has counted him out?
