The Dallas Mavericks lost another game on Wednesday night, this time falling to the Atlanta Hawks in a rough 130-122 defeat.
This was hot on the heels of two other bad games, back-to-back losses against the Portland Trail Blazers earlier in the week.
In the last three games, the Mavericks have allowed their opponents to score more than 130 points, which is a shocking and embarrassing statistic for the team.
.@JalenRose had one name in mind that could help out Luka and the Mavs right now 😳

The Mavericks are the fifth seed in the West and they also have one of the best NBA players alive, Luka Doncic.
However, they obviously still need to improve a bit.
NBA analyst Jalen Rose thinks he knows how they could get better.
When asked which player in the league could possibly help out Doncic and the Mavericks, Rose was direct: “Jalen Brunson! They had the guy in the locker room. They let him get away.”
Rose isn’t the first person to comment on how badly the Mavericks screwed up when they let Brunson get away.
As the season goes on, others will surely echo this sentiment.
Brunson is currently averaging 22.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists on 47% shooting for his New York Knicks.
Meanwhile, in Dallas, Doncic is the top scorer with 33.7 points a game.
The second-best shooter on the team is Christian Wood, who is producing 18.4 points.
By simply looking at the numbers, you can assume that Brunson would be helping the team a lot if he was still there.
Perhaps Brunson is doing so well in New York because he feels truly valued by that team, wanted in ways that he wasn’t in Dallas.
The Mavericks tried to retain Brunson but they didn’t offer him a big enough package and the Knicks threw a huge deal his way.
The Mavericks have had some amazing games throughout the season.
But Wednesday night was a good reminder of how much they miss Brunson.
