The New York Knicks have had the Big Apple on its feet lately, winning their last four games including a big battle against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who they may face in the first round of the playoffs.
It’s been an impressive run by the team, made even more impressive by the fact that they have been without their biggest star.
Julius Randle has sat out of the last two games due to an ankle injury.
With the postseason quickly approaching and hopes for the team reaching new heights, fans are wondering when Randle could be back.
Speaking on FanDuel TV, NBA insider Shams Charania brought both good and bad news about Randle.
He said that Randle will definitely miss the last three games of the regular season but is expected to be re-evaluated “mid next week.”

The fact that he will be re-evaluated next week is good news but that doesn’t mean he will be springing back onto the court right after that.
There is a chance that his injury requires more time to heal and Randle could be on the sidelines as his team starts its postseason run.
Randle has had a redeeming, dominant season, averaging 25.1 points, 10 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.
He has again asserted himself as the center of the team.
However, the Knicks haven’t been slowing down without Randle, finding success mostly because of powerful performances from Jalen Brunson.
The fact that the Knicks are still playing well even without Randle shows just how smart the team was to add Brunson in the previous offseason.
The Knicks are eager to welcome Randle back but they aren’t losing faith in themselves during his absence.NEXT: Fans React To Knicks Clinching Playoff Berth
