The team who made the new trailer for NBA 2K24 may have just purposefully tried to start some drama.
Complex Sports noted that fresh footage from the game shows Jordan Poole, now of the Washington Wizards, in an isolation play against Draymond Green, his former teammate.
Not only did these two play together for several years, they were at the center of a major controversy last summer.
This trailer will get some people talking and many more excited for the new NBA season.

Last summer, the NBA world was shocked when footage of Green punching Poole during a practice session went viral online.
The two sides said that they had put the fight behind them and were solely focused on winning a lot that season.
Of course, the season didn’t go as planned and just months later Poole was sent to the Wizards while Green remained in Golden State.
That means that in just a few months, the face-off we see in the trailer above will actually happen during a real game.
It will surely garner a lot of attention when it does occur.
Poole is ready to move on from the Warriors and all the drama of the last year.
He played well during the regular season but experienced some problems during the playoffs, which ultimately led to his trade.
Now that he’s with a brand new team, he has a chance to reestablish himself as an important part of the squad, a team leader, and perhaps one of the faces of the team’s future.
Fans will be curious about these two but there is no doubt they will solely be focused on their success on the court and nothing else.
