The baseball world was dealt a tough blow on Tuesday night when it was learned that legendary Los Angeles Dodgers announcer Vin Scully had passed away at the age of 94.

Scully was without a doubt one of, if not the greatest announcer in baseball history.

The Dodgers posted a nice little tribute video for their legendary announcer.

There will never be another Vin Scully. You will be forever missed. 🎙💙 pic.twitter.com/WyTmXsati5

There will never be another announcer like the great Vin Scully.

The baseball world is at a huge loss with his passing.

He was around for some of the greatest moments in baseball history, including Hank Aaron‘s 715th career home run.

Scully was a sports legend.

His presence was felt all around not just the baseball world, but the sports world as a whole.

Scully’s impact was felt everywhere.

He always brought a sense of joy to each game he was calling.

His insight was impeccable.

He knew even the slightest details of not just the Dodgers, but all teams around Major League Baseball.

Though he may have primarily announced games for the Dodgers, other MLB teams made sure to acknowledge his impact last night.

The St. Louis Cardinals Twitter account posted their own farewell to the legendary Dodgers broadcaster, extending their condolences to his family, friends, and the Dodgers organization.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Hall of Fame broadcaster and baseball legend Vin Scully.

Our heartfelt sympathies are with his family, friends, the Dodgers organization. https://t.co/3PoqQN6KoD

Perhaps one of the best things about Scully was his ability to have so much fun while doing his job.

Anybody who listened to him broadcast games could easily tell that he was having a blast and living the dream.

He even provided a nice play-by-play of Jimmy Kimmel’s celebrity softball game home run when Kimmel had him on his show.

No one was better at any job than Vin Scully was at his. And, a lovely man on top of that. It’s a beautiful night and we will miss you @Dodgers https://t.co/rmt4QjsvZZ

Remembering A Legend
