The 2022 MLB playoffs are right around the corner.
The regular season calendar has less than two weeks remaining: that means fans are about to enjoy one of the most exciting postseasons in recent memory.
The league’s official Twitter account posted World Series odds for 19 teams that remain in mathematical contention for a spot on the playoffs.
This doesn’t include eliminated teams like the Los Angeles Angels, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Washington Nationals, Oakland Athletics, Texas Rangers, and others.

At +325, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the betting favorites to win the World Series, as they should be.
They have a 102-44 record before Tuesday’s games, and are a tier above everybody else, including other elite teams.
The Dodgers And Who Else?
At +400, the Houston Astros have the second-best odds to lift the Fall Classic trophy in a few weeks.
Led by Justin Verlander on the pitching side and Yordan Alvarez when it comes to position players, the Astros are looking to make their fourth World Series in the last six years.
The New York Mets’ odds of winning it all are at +500: not bad for a franchise that didn’t even make the postseason since 2016.
Bringing in Max Scherzer was a great move, as their postseason rotation will be led by the three-time Cy Young winner and fellow ace Jacob deGrom.
The New York Yankees have the fourth-best odds of winning despite their mediocre second half, at +550.
With Aaron Judge in “beast mode” and Gerrit Cole leading the rotation, the Bronx Bombers stand a chance against everybody.
The reigning World Series champions, the Atlanta Braves, appear ranked fifth with +800 odds.
Who will lift the trophy when all is said and done?
Stick around to find out in a few weeks.
