We are all currently focused on the World Baseball Classic, which will take most of our attention until March 21.
But let’s not forget that the MLB season, the competition that the majority of fans are most excited about, will start soon.
Very soon.
In fact, the league’s official Twitter feed reminded us how many days we have to wait until enjoying another exciting Opening Day.

20.
That’s the number of days separating ourselves from our beloved pastime.
In the meantime, we are getting some really thrilling World Baseball Classic games with some of the league’s top stars.
After the 21st, however, we will back to counting down the days impatiently.
MLB, in its tweet, also reminded us about the best and most exciting pitchers in the sport.
In their graphic, Zack Greinke, Justin Verlander, Hunter Greene, Alek Manoah, Jacob deGrom and Yu Darvish are pictured.
Some of them are expected to take the ball on Opening Day on the 30th.
We will see if the Houston Astros have what it takes to keep their place atop the league or if another challenger can dethrone them.
They won a closely contested World Series last year against the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 and remain one of the strongest teams in baseball.
Will the Phillies take a step forward and win their first title since 2008?
How about the New York teams?
Can the Atlanta Braves regain some of the magic that made them champs in 2021?
Or will the Los Angeles Dodgers or the San Diego Padres step up from the NL West?
There are so many variables and possible scenarios that nothing is set in stone.
