Opening Day will be here in a couple of days.
Spring training games wrap up on Tuesday, and soon, teams will break camp and prepare for Opening Day.
And so, with the big day approaching, MLB decided that it was time to release the first power rankings list.
There aren’t many surprises on the list of the top 10, if any.
Several teams that did plenty of damage last season remain on the list.
The Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, San Diego Padres, and Los Angeles Dodgers all appear on the list.
On Twitter, MLB posted a graphic featuring their list of the top 10 teams in all of baseball heading into the 2023 season.
The power is in the eyes of the beholder.

The Astros won the World Series in 2022 and find themselves at the top.
The Atlanta Braves are second.
Rounding out the top five are the Padres, Dodgers, and Mets, respectively.
The New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays kick off the second half of the top 10, with the Phillies, Seattle Mariners, and St. Louis Cardinals rounding out the list in that order.
These teams all look prepared for more success in 2023.
The Astros lost Justin Verlander, but still have a wealth of starting pitching depth that makes them a dangerous opponent.
The Mets were certainly busy after the departure of Jacob deGrom, signing Verlander, Jose Quintana, and Kodai Senga to bolster their starting rotation.
The Cardinals were relatively quiet, but the signing of Willson Contreras gives them a very powerful lineup.
This season should be exciting.
