Throwing a baseball is not a normal motion for the human body.
So the more players do it the more likely they are to get injured.
That is why we see a ton of injuries to pitchers in MLB.
Every season there is a laundry list of players who miss time with different injuries.
This season, many of the star pitchers in baseball will not be able to finish the year.
According to Alden Gonzalez, there is a long list of names who are out for the rest of the year.
Some of the names include Max Scherzer, Jacob deGrom, Yu Darvish, and Shohei Ohtani.

This has become a major problem in baseball.
Every season we see more and more arm injuries to some of the best pitchers in the league.
We have even seen a few position players that need Tommy John surgery.
Bryce Harper had it this past offseason, while Yankees rookie Jasson Dominguez suffered a similar UCL injury in the last few weeks.
UCL injuries seem to be becoming a major problem in baseball.
Some think the addition of the pitch clock could be a slight factor in these injuries.
Forcing pitchers to throw the ball quicker could be causing these issues.
Yet, MLB has no interest in changing the pitch clock rules because they are speeding up the game.
The arm injuries in baseball have become a serious problem.
It would be best if the league looked into these injuries and the best ways to slow down the rate at which they happen.
