The 2023 MLB season is nearly upon us, and that means it’s almost time for fans and experts to make their preseason predictions, which could range from winners of major awards such as the Cy Young and MVP, or even postseason predictions.
Today on MLB Network, Jon Morosi stopped by to make his predictions for the American League Central division, which could potentially be a three-team race between the Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins, and Cleveland Guardians.
After a brief laugh over an old picture of himself, Morosi explained his predictions and gave an in-depth analysis on each team in the AL Central, determining who was the best of the bunch.

Morosi went from the bottom to the top, and was quick when talking about the Kansas City Royals, who are projected to finish in last place, and the Detroit Tigers, who he predicted would come in fourth place.
But he had some positive things to say about the Royals and their youth movement, particularly when it came to right-hander Brady Singer, the team’s ace.
Singer will be pitching for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic this March.
Morosi then acknowledged how the Twins have improved over last season.
In addition to ultimately retaining Carlos Correa, they also brought in Joey Gallo and Christian Vazquez.
Still Morosi sees them finishing in third, with the Guardians and White Sox finishing in the top two spots.
Morosi has the Guardians returning to the postseason, but as a Wild Card team, and stated that if the White Sox can stay healthy, they should be the team to beat.
