Dallas Keuchel is a name that many baseball fans may not have heard in quite some time.
That is because he ultimately was let go by the Chicago White Sox last year after posting an ERA of 7.88.
Things didn’t get much better for the veteran left-hander, who was picked up by the Arizona Diamondbacks before being released again.
He also spent time with the Texas Rangers.
This year, he has been in the Minnesota Twins organization.
With the team’s Triple-A affiliate, the former Cy Young has posted an ERA of 0.90 in four starts.
On Twitter, Jon Morosi predicted that soon, Keuchel will be back in the majors thanks to his recent hot stretch.
I expect we will see Dallas Keuchel, 35, back in the big leagues sooner rather than later. @kidkeuchy has a 0.90 ERA through 4 starts with the @Twins Triple-A affiliate. @MLBNetwork @MLBPipeline

Keuchel was once the ace of the Houston Astros.
He helped guide them to their first World Series title in 2017.
Keuchel made a brief stop with the Atlanta Braves before ultimately signing with the White Sox prior to the 2020 season.
A rejuvenated Keuchel would be a huge boost for the Twins, who currently lead the AL Central with a record of 48-47.
Minnesota already has Sonny Gray, Pablo Lopez, and Joe Ryan in their current rotation.
This certainly is an encouraging sign for both Keuchel and the Twins.
The two-time All-Star and five-time Gold Glover hasn’t been the same since he joined the White Sox, but appears to be figuring things out at the minor league level.
He finished the 2022 season with an ERA of 9.20, but owns a career mark of 3.98.
We’ll see if the Twins ultimately can find a spot for the veteran lefty.
