The Atlanta Braves have been very active at the trade deadline in recent years.
Back in 2021, they were without several key pieces in their outfield.
So, they picked up Eddie Rosario, Adam Duvall, Jorge Soler, and Joc Pederson.
Last season, they acquired Robbie Grossman, Ehire Adrianza, Jake Odorizzi,, Tucker Davidson, and Raisel Iglesias.
However, this season, MLB Network insider Jon Morosi does not believe the team will be making a major splash at the deadline.
On Thursday, Morosi appeared on MLB Network with Lauren Shehadi and discussed his thoughts on the Braves and what their trade deadline may look like this year.

Morosi talked about the moves GM Alex Anthopoulos made at the 2021 deadline and how recent history suggests some moves will be made.
He predicted that Anthopoulos will ultimately make a move to strengthen the Braves roster, but that this may not be the year for them to make a big move for a starting pitcher.
Morosi explained that at some point in the near future, left-hander Max Fried will return from his injury, which would give them the frontline starter they need.
There also are not too many top-level starters available at the deadline this year, with Dylan Cease and Shane Bieber being notable exceptions.
The Braves are high on left-hander Kolby Allard as well, who Morosi mentions they believe can start in the future.
Morosi reiterated that recent history suggests Anthopoulos will do a deep dive at the trade deadline and find some pieces for the Braves, but that they may not be big pieces.
