The MLB postseason is over, and the Houston Astros have reclaimed their spot atop the baseball world, defeating the Philadelphia Phillies in six games in the World Series.
And thus begins the 2022-2023 offseason.
Not until February 24 will we have a chance to see any sort of MLB action.
Spring training games will begin then.
But for now, we’re stuck waiting for more games.
While the offseason figures to be an entertaining one by the looks of it, it still doesn’t match the thrill of an actual game and the competition that comes with it.
In fact, we’ll have to wait over 140 days before Opening Day in 2023.

Waiting For 2023
The offseason is officially underway.
And while it will be fun to track every team’s offseason moves and predict where the top free agents will sign, we still are left without any actual baseball games.
We won’t know where the top free agents will end up signing.
We won’t know who will be in different uniforms next season.
This postseason had all the excitement and drama that anybody could ask for when watching a postseason.
But once that’s over, the waiting game begins.
And so, here we are waiting for more action.
That doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to the offseason, but it does mean that baseball will be on hold until February.
So for now, we can all relate to the meme shown in the tweet above, with Michael Scott from The Office rotating in a swing, just waiting and waiting for more baseball.
