The American League Central division is currently in a unique position.
The Minnesota Twins are the ones sitting at the top of the division, but their lead over the second-place Cleveland Guardians sits at a slim three games.
Interestingly though, there are no teams in the division that have a winning record as of now.
The Twins are in first place, but dropped to .500 with a 2-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday.
On Twitter, MLB on FOX posted a graphic featuring the AL Central standings, which show the .500 Twins at the top of the list after their first 62 games.

This is certainly an unprecedented situation.
More often than not, most divisions will have at least two teams above the .500 mark.
However, this is not the case with the AL Central.
Every team sits at either .500 or below, and before long, every team could be below the .500 mark, which ultimately speaks to the fact that the division is obviously not the strongest one in baseball.
Both Central divisions are relatively weak, but the AL Central has taken it to a whole new level this month.
Even the Chicago White Sox, who got off to a terrible start and still sit eight games below the .500 mark, are only four games back of first, meaning there’s a chance for them to make up some significant ground and ultimately fight their way back into the race.
