Mitchell Trubisky will have an opportunity to resurrect his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He will have big shoes to fill after Ben Roethlisberger retired from the league after 18 seasons.
The Steelers hope that Trubisky has picked up a lot of pointers from Josh Allen during his lone season with the Buffalo Bills.
Luckily for him, he will have weapons around him like versatile running back Najee Harris.
There’s also rookie wideout George Pickens, who has been turning heads during the preseason.
Do not forget Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool who both had steady performances last year.
Tight end Pat Freiermuth is also turning out to be a reliable option.
Say what you want about Trubisky, but he holds this feat like no other.

The NFL on CBS’ official Twitter account said, “Nearly 200 QBs have started 50+ games in the NFL since 1950. Only 1 of those QBs has NEVER thrown a Pick Six in his career. That QB is Mitchell Trubisky.”
Trubisky’s Interception History
The Steelers hope that he maintains this achievement until their season ends.
Who knows, but avoiding the pick-six could be enough to bring them again to the playoffs.
It’s not that Trubisky hasn’t thrown an interception because he has 38 of those.
He also had seasons with the Chicago Bears wherein he had 12 and ten picks in one season.
Trubisky also threw a pick in six games played last season.
Pittsburgh will be in good hands if Trubisky continues to drive them down the field while avoiding the pick-six.
After all, their division rivals have talented defensive backs like Jessie Bates, Greg Newsome, Denzel Ward, Marcus Peters, and Marlon Humphrey, to name a few.
