The Pittsburgh Steelers hold a 2-2 record and are coming off a 30-6 loss against the Houston Texans.
As they head into their Week 5 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, Mike Tomlin will look for a better effort from his team.
As Tomlin mentioned via Steelers reporter Gerry Dulac, the Texans were “more physical and played harder” than the Steelers in their matchup.
Mike Tomlin said it was very disappointing that the Texans were "more physical and played harder" than the Steelers. "That's something that has to change immediately. We have to make sure than doesn't happen again."

Tomlin also said that this kind of effort “has to change immediately,” and that “We have to make sure that doesn’t happen again.”
The Steelers are typically known for an elite defense, and their roster is one of the toughest in the league.
Tomlin is regarded as one of the NFL’s best coaches, fostering this competitive environment inside of the Steelers’ locker room.
However, he believes his team did not play to their standards against the Texans.
If they want to beat the Ravens and solidify their place in the AFC North, they will need to go back to their roots.
The Steelers have several top playmakers on both sides of the football, including T.J. Watt, George Pickens, and Najee Harris.
When these players step up in games and put forth a solid effort, it is extra motivation for their teammates to step up their game.
Their upcoming game with the Ravens will be a test for this Steelers roster.
Will they rise to the occasion, taking Tomlin’s words to heart and beating a divisional rival?
Or, will they fall to a 2-3 record, putting themselves at a deficit for the divisional race?
