It’s hard not to root for the 2023 Cleveland Browns.
They’ve been the true definition of resiliency, self-improvement, and working as a unit.
That’s why Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel tipped his hat to them.
When asked about the Browns, he claimed that the coolest part about the things they’ve accomplished was watching how everybody else was worried about what they didn’t have except for them (via NFL Notifications).
“A lot of people were worried about what they didn’t have, except them. When your focus on the opponent and not what you don’t have, really cool things can happen,” McDaniel said.

McDaniel stated how everybody counted them out, but they were able to go through a galvanizing situation to prove everybody wrong, which is obviously great for team chemistry.
The Browns never complained or made excuses.
They just put their head down and kept working.
Now, they still have a chance at getting the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and even if they don’t do it, the sole fact that they were able to win so many games and make the playoffs despite that string of major injuries is simply remarkable and worthy of praise.
This Browns team had a different look to it since the offseason, with all the veterans raving about their mindset and all players pushing toward the same goal.
They may or may not be able to go the distance in the playoffs, but even if they’re one and done or fail to compete in the Wild Card game, this season has to be considered a major success for the Browns, and props to McDaniel for giving them their well-deserved flowers.
