The Dallas Cowboys had perhaps their biggest game of the 2023 season on Sunday night when they hosted the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium.
It was a chance to not only defeat their NFC East rivals but to also take control of the division after looking up at the Eagles for much of the season.
The Cowboys did all that by routing Philly, 33-13, and it was never close.
Head coach Mike McCarthy praised the fans in attendance, saying he may have never heard them be so loud, per Jon Machota.
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy: “The crowd last night, I don’t know if I’ve ever heard AT&T Stadium that loud.”

Cowboys fans are some of the most passionate and loyal in all of team sports, to the point where detractors claim they’re annoying and insufferable.
But those fans have plenty to be happy and excited about this season, as Dallas has a five-game winning streak and continues to look invincible at home, where they have won 15 in a row.
Quarterback Dak Prescott didn’t have the most efficient game on Sunday, but he has been playing arguably the best football of his career, and many feel he’s currently the favorite for the league MVP.
For him to actually take home the award, he may have to lead the Cowboys to the top seed in the NFC.
That top seed is currently held by their historic rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, who defeated them, 42-10, in Week 5.
The Niners may be the only team right now that are capable of defeating the Cowboys, and should the two teams meet in the playoffs for the third straight year, the Cowboys will have tons of motivation to finally get past them.
