The New York Jets lost a tough one.
They were going all-in to beat the Buffalo Bills, make a statement, and prove that letting Robert Saleh go was the right decision.
Instead, they wound up losing another close game they could’ve won.
With that in mind, NFL analyst — and well-known Jets fan — Mike Greenberg had some tough things to say about his beloved team.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, Greenberg claimed that the Jets do all the things that winning things don’t do.
Whether it’s dropping passes, getting flagged, missing field goals, or whatnot, they just can’t seem to win the close ones.

He pointed out the fact that they’ve now lost three consecutive games by a combined total of 10 points, and that’s not what winning teams do.
He believes that as much as they have an easy schedule the rest of the way, nothing seems to be easy with this team.
Moreover, he thinks that Aaron Rodgers isn’t the player he once was, at least in closing moments.
Whether it’s because of miscommunication, injuries, or age, he thinks Rodgers doesn’t have that magic anymore.
The Jets still have time to turn things around, and they clearly have the talent to do so as well.
But for now, at least, this team isn’t playing winning football, and it takes time to build winning habits.
The turnaround must start now if this team wants to live up to its potential, and the little things are what sets good and bad teams apart.
