Mike Brown’s time with the Sacramento Kings has come to an end.
After a bit more than two seasons, Brown was fired as Kings head coach following a 13-18 start to the year.
A video shared by BricksCetner on X showed that Brown was talking about getting through tough times just minutes before he was fired.
During a press huddle on Friday, Brown said:
“When you’re going through adversity, you know who’s truly there for you.”

Brown said he was comfortable receiving criticism and was willing to hear it all.
He also said difficult times give people a chance to see who is going to be by their side and stick it out with them.
People will prove themselves and their views of others when things become hard.
Some Kings fans are happy to see Brown leave, but others feel he wasn’t treated well by Sacramento’s front office.
Even though Brown had done great things for the team, this season was just too much for the owners.
They are trying to hold onto their talented star De’Aaron Fox and retain the rest of the promising roster they have.
But they are the 12th team in the West right now, and it’s clear that something has to change.
They don’t want to lose their players, and they don’t want to give up on this season, so the firing of Brown seemed like the right option.
The Kings are definitely facing adversity this season and the front office made it clear that they were not there for Brown.
