Similar to Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina last season, Miguel Cabrera is enjoying a nice farewell tour.
The Detroit Tigers slugger announced this past winter that the 2023 season would be his final season in Major League Baseball.
The Tigers wrapped up their series with the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday, and before the game, the 39-year-old slugger got a nice retirement gift from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and his former teammate Victor Martinez.
Martinez and Guerrero presented the future Hall-of-Famer with framed photos of the moment when he hit his 500th career home run in August of 2021.
On Twitter, the Blue Jays posted a video of the moment Cabrera received his gift.

When one of the best players of all time is retiring, he is bound to receive some nice gifts from opposing teams.
Thursday was no different for Cabrera as he made his final pass through Toronto before he calls it a career.
He got a chance to reunite with Martinez, who played alongside Cabrera from 2011-18 in Detroit.
The Tigers won the game by a final of 3-1 and prevented the Blue Jays from pulling off a sweep.
Now, Cabrera’s farewell tour will make a stop at Oracle Park as the Tigers play the San Francisco Giants in a rematch of the 2012 World Series.
It’s anybody’s guess what Cabrera will receive there, but his gift at Rogers Centre was certainly one he’ll cherish for the rest of his life as he looks back on his biggest accomplishments in such a legendary career.
