Miguel Cabrera Did The Impossible On Tuesday

We all know how great of a hitter Miguel Cabrera is.

We all know what he means to the Detroit Tigers and the rest of Major League Baseball.

His stats and track record both speak for themselves.

But one thing in particular took place last night in Kansas City.

He actually (wait for it) stole a base.

And when the throw down to third base got away, he got back up and ended up scoring.

The Tigers twitter account posted the highlight.

Miggy Shows Off The Wheels

As it turns out, Miggy’s got some wheels!

His hitting is unquestionably good, but he can run a bit too.

Yes, that was Cabrera stealing third base.

And he scored too.

This is impressive.

You never expect to see a guy like Cabrera steal a base.

But even Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina can surprise you sometimes, so it was never out of the realm of possibility that Cabrera could swipe a bag or two.

It’s certainly a beautiful sight every time a guy like Cabrera who isn’t all that fast steals a base.

It’s something you would never expect.

What you might expect is to see Cabrera a little bit winded on his way back to the dugout.

But it was cool to see him all pumped up.

He was chugging over to third and then chugged on home to score the run.

As the Tigers broadcasters said in the highlight, that’s something that people are going to want to watch for a little while.

We’ll see if he can do it again soon.
