After an up-and-down season in 2023, the Philadelphia Eagles have seemingly righted the ship.
They’ve made some major strides on defense, and their offense, while not perfect, has also been one of the best in the league.
At 11-2, the Eagles are tied with the Minnesota Vikings for the second-best record in the NFC, still hoping to catch the Detroit Lions for the top spot in the conference.
They’ve already taken down some top-notch teams but face another difficult test this weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pittsburgh has a top-notch defense, so the Eagles can’t afford to make any mistakes in this game, otherwise, the Steelers could make them pay.
This is why Michael Vick warned Jalen Hurts ahead of this game, wanting to make sure he doesn’t force-feed the ball to A.J. Brown in this matchup.
As Vick said on First Things First, “It’s always more difficult to play within the confines of the offense when you’re trying to force the ball to a guy.”

Brown has voiced discontent about his role on the offense, as he hasn’t gotten the ball as much as he has in previous seasons.
While this might be true from a target distribution standpoint, the offense is playing well, even if Brown isn’t having a banner year.
Analysts like Vick are seemingly frustrated with Brown, and he wants to make sure Hurts doesn’t get caught trying to appease him, especially in a matchup with an opponent like the Steelers.
If his eyes are only on Brown in this game, the Steelers’ opportunistic defense could take advantage and have a field day.
