The Philadelphia Eagles have continued their dominance from the 2022 season.
At 7-1, they not only have a commanding lead on the rest of their division but hold a substantial lead over the other teams in the NFC.
Both sides of the ball for the Eagles have come together, resulting in great success again this year.
One of their best contributors thus far has been A.J. Brown, who has put the league on notice.
His performances have caught the attention of many analysts and former players, including Michael Irvin.
Irvin recently tweeted about Brown, not only calling him the best receiver in the NFL but also contending that he is also the best player in the league.
That dude AJ Brown with the @Eagles may not just be the best receiver in the @NFL , he very well may be the BEST PLAYER IN THE @NFL right now!!!!

Through eight weeks, Brown trails only Tyreek Hill for the NFL’s lead in receiving yards.
Brown has also logged 60 receptions, which is tied for the third-highest total in the league.
His impact on the Eagles’ offense continues to be felt, putting up massive games despite the other elite skill-position players on the roster.
As Irvin mentioned, he believes all of these factors make Brown one of the best, if not the best players in the NFL.
While he doesn’t directly say it, this could put Brown in line for the league’s MVP award this season.
NFL precedent would tell Irvin that Brown has a minuscule chance to bring home the hardware given that a receiver has never won MVP.
While MVP isn’t off the table, Brown needs to keep up this current pace to give himself a chance at the award.
