Not many people thought the Washington Commanders would be a playoff team this season.
They had a new head coach and assistant coaches, a rookie quarterback, and several new faces.
Week in and week out, they proved the doubters wrong.
More than that, they even won a playoff game on the road.
That’s why Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons believes they’re not done yet.
In the latest edition of his podcast, the star pass rusher predicted that the Commanders would take down the Detroit Lions in the NFC Divisional Round game (via Jay Daniels MVP):
“He’s the 4th rookie QB to win a road playoff game. If he can win one, he can win another,” he said.

Of course, Jayden Daniels has shown that he’s unfazed by pressure and the big moment.
He’s been one of the most special rookie quarterbacks we’ve ever seen.
Nevertheless, winning in Detroit is going to be way easier said than done.
The Lions have an extra week to rest and prepare for their opponents.
While Dan Quinn’s defense has been very good, the Lions have the most proficient offense in the National Football League.
They did lose a couple of games at home this season, so it’s not like they cannot be had, but it won’t be easy.
The Commanders don’t have anything to lose at this point, and one could say they’re playing with house money.
The Lions are considered to be the team to beat in the NFC, and if the Commanders pull this upset off, it would be wrong not to consider them a legitimate threat to win the whole thing.
