During their latest Monday Night Football encounter, the Dallas Cowboys earned a road victory over the New York Giants.
Scoring turned up in the second half, but the Cowboys defense rose to the occasion.
An interception by Trevon Diggs sealed a 23-16 win by Dallas.
But even before that game-sealing play, the Cowboys defense was a sight to behold.
No wonder 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year Micah Parsons is declaring the start of what could be a dominating period for their unit.
Cowboys defense 🤩! New era!!

The former Penn State standout is the cornerstone of a more tenacious Cowboys defense.
He put the league on notice with 64 solo tackles, 13 sacks, three forced fumbles, and three passes defended in his maiden year.
However, he was relatively quiet against the Giants, with only one assist.
But his presence served as a decoy for his teammates to dominate New York’s offensive line.
With the Giants paying much attention to Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence was able to register three sacks.
Donovan Wilson and Dorance Armstrong Jr. had one sack each.
Wilson also led Dallas with nine tackles, while Jourdan Lewis and Anthony Brown had seven each.
Both Cowboys Units Working Hand In Hand
Dallas’ offense came alive in the second half with CeeDee Lamb’s one-handed touchdown catch and Ezekiel Elliott‘s one-yard touchdown run.
As Cooper Rush and company did their part, Parsons and the defense limited the Giants to three points in the fourth quarter.
Their efforts gave Dallas a 2-1 record after three games.
It’s unthinkable for them to have a winning record after losing Dak Prescott to a thumb injury.
But Dan Quinn’s unit is shutting down opponents to help their cause.
The Cowboys will be brimming with confidence as they head into Week 4 against the Washington Commanders.
