The Dallas Cowboys have their toughest challenge of the 2023 NFL season coming up as they take on the San Francisco 49ers.
The 49ers look like the class of the NFC right now as they’re undefeated and have won all their games in convincing fashion.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys have on blemish on their record already as they were upset by the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 though they re-established their standing in the pecking order when they demolished the New England Patriots in Week 4.
Like San Francisco, Dallas’ strength lies in their defense as they’ve got arguably the best unit in the league right now.
Micah Parsons has been the driving force behind the Cowboys’ strong start as his presence off the edge has been a massive disruption to opposing offenses.
While Parsons makes a living off chasing after quarterbacks, he called out the media for their treatment of signal callers like Daniel Jones and Zach Wilson via Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk.
“I just feel like so many times the media just always throws out negative things on certain players. It’s almost like bullying online. We’re just being social media bullies,” Parsons said.

He previously said about Rodney Harrison calling Zach Wilson 'Garbage': "To me that's a fraudulent move… Zach Wilson is special in his own way."… https://t.co/QEn3s2fRMV pic.twitter.com/yYUEswE3fZ

The New York Giants and New York Jets have both been plagued by subpar quarterback play, though it does feel like the media has made it its job to kick them while they’re down.
Players like Parsons will always be sensitive when it comes to analysts calling out their peers and in this case he shows he’s got their backs.
However, Parsons only has one quarterback to worry about this weekend in Brock Purdy who’s got the 49ers humming offensively.
