It has been 10 days since the latest issue with Carlos Correa’s free agency reared its ugly head for a second time.
After an issue with his right ankle revealed itself and the San Francisco Giants put his introductory press conference on hold, the New York Mets jumped in and signed him to a 12-year, $315 million contract.
However, the same issue took place when the Mets were reviewing his physical.
As of now, Correa is still unsigned.
Understandably, Mets fans have grown frustrated with the situation and are sick and tired of playing the waiting game.
The Correa situation remains a mystery, and one fan on Twitter expressed his discontent with the way things have been handled.

What happens next is anybody’s guess, but it’s clear that Mets fans are starting to feel the same pain that Giants fans felt.
If the deal ends up being worked out, Correa is set to play third base with Francisco Lindor already manning the shortstop position.
Still, time is running out.
Mets fans want the deal to become official and for Correa to be introduced as a member of the team.
New York has been very busy this offseason.
Even if the Correa deal does not pan out, they still have signed Justin Verlander, David Robertson, Adam Ottavino, Brandon Nimmo, Kodai Senga, Omar Narvaez, and Jose Quintana.
But Mets fans are still stuck in a holding pattern, anxiously awaiting an update on the situation and hoping that the deal gets worked out and the two-time All-Star can finally join the team.
