The 2024-2025 college football season is officially over, which means that NFL Draft talks are in full swing.
Now that there is a clearer picture of who has declared for the draft, and who might still throw their hat in the ring, analysts are starting to put mock drafts together to try and predict what might happen in April.
One of the most exciting players in college football this season was Ashton Jeanty, a high-profile running back from Boise State.
Jeanty made a name for himself with many impressive runs throughout the year, and he’s been touted as a first-round pick for several months.
Where he’ll go, of course, is still a mystery, but ESPN’s draft expert, Mel Kiper Jr., has made his official prediction.
“Jeanty is going, either to Dallas at 12 I believe, or where I put him at 20, to Denver,” Kiper said.

Other analysts believe Jeanty is a shoo-in to join the Dallas Cowboys, but Kiper has him falling a bit further to the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos were initially high on Javonte Williams when he was drafted, but his play in 2024 left something to be desired.
Bo Nix has established himself as a solid NFL starting quarterback, and if he gets a player like Jeanty behind him in the backfield, there’s no telling how much better he will get during the 2025 season.
It will ultimately be interesting to see where Jeanty lands given how well he played in college, but it seems like a foregone conclusion that he’ll be a first-rounder, barring any surprises.
