The NFL Draft is rapidly approaching.
For many NFL fans, this is an incredibly exciting time, as their organization is filled with hope and excitement.
Even if a team had a down year in 2022, new prospects can signal a massive change for teams, especially at key positions.
The NFL has been largely dominated by star quarterbacks over the last several seasons.
If a team doesn’t employ a franchise quarterback, it can be difficult for teams to make any significant strides toward the playoffs.
Ahead of April’s draft, Mel Kiper has released his latest mock draft, where he has a new number one overall prospect.

Kiper’s latest mock has C.J. Stroud over Bryce Young, which has surprised many.
Young won the Heisman Trophy in 2021 and has been a highly regarded prospect for several years.
However, the Carolina Panthers now hold the number one overall pick, after a monster trade with the Chicago Bears.
The Panthers have been rumored to be all-in on Stroud, especially after his combine performance.
Fortunately for the Panthers, they will be able to draft any player that they wish, given their unique position.
Recently, Young’s ability to succeed in the NFL has been called into question, especially regarding his size.
Many have expressed concern about Young’s height, which might be the reason that Kiper has moved him down.
The next several weeks will be filled with additional mock drafts and widespread speculation about where the top prospects will land.
If Kiper’s mocks are any indication, quarterbacks will be a hot commodity.
