The Washington Commanders are one win away from the Super Bowl.
That seemed almost impossible just months ago.
They won four games last season, and even though Jayden Daniels was a promising prospect, he was still a rookie.
That’s why the LSU product has drawn so much praise around the league.
Notably, that includes Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby.
On the “Let’s Go! Podcast,” the star defensive end raved about Daniels’ demeanor and calmness (via Jay Daniels MVP).
#Raiders DE Maxx Crosby on Jayden Daniels:
“He carries himself like a vet. He’s got this calmness to him in all scenarios.”

Crosby claimed that Daniels has the kind of intangibles that you simply cannot teach.
He sees him as a player who’s never too high or too low or fazed by the moment.
That’s what he’s shown on the field during his first year in the league.
Daniels has won multiple games with either a comeback or a game-winning drive.
He’s even won a game with a Hail Mary.
In addition, he has now won back-to-back road playoff games, and he has thrown for almost 300 yards in both of them.
The Commanders weren’t expected to be a playoff team, much less to be one of the last two teams standing in the NFC.
It’s never wise to get too carried away after just one season.
But Daniels has had one of the most spectacular rookie campaigns by any quarterback in NFL history.
Notably, this is the worst he’s ever going to be, and the Commanders should be very good for a very long time.
