The Los Angeles Dodgers are once again looking like a well-oiled machine this season.
It seems like every regular season the Dodgers are atop the standings.
No matter what changes they make in the offseason, they always put a good team on the field.
The Dodgers have a couple of elite MVP candidates in Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman.
But, so many more players make this team go.
One of the unsung heroes of this Dodgers team is Max Muncy.
He flies under the radar because he is not flashy and hits for a low batting average.
But, Muncy is of great importance to the Dodgers lineup.
According to Fabian Ardaya, Muncy has now homered 35+ times in four seasons with the Dodgers.
The only other player to do that was Duke Snider, who did it five times.

Muncy is a key cog in the lineup and one of their top run producers.
He has 97 RBI on the year which is second on the team behind Betts.
Muncy struggled in his first two MLB seasons as a member of the Oakland A’s.
But since joining the Dodgers he has been nothing short of awesome.
LA would not be as successful as they have been without the contributions of Muncy.
Next season he will be looking to tie Snider’s record by making it five seasons with 35+ homers.
Muncy has a club option on his contract for the 2024 season.
With the way he has played this year, it would be a surprise if he was not in Dodger Blue next year.
