The NBA is undoubtedly the most popular basketball league in the world.
Initially, most followers of the league were from the United States, but now, they stem from almost every corner of the world.
In hopes of catering to the said followers, the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves will play two preseason games in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking of which, the official Twitter handle of the NBA posted a video of Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and other key figures of the organization in a desert in Abu Dhabi.

As evident from the short clip, even the coaching staff and team owner Mark Cuban were present for the video.
It’s good to see that the Mavs took the initiative to bring the entire roster for the event in Abu Dhabi.
Basketball fans in Abu Dhabi will be surely be excited to see some of their favorite players play in their country.
Following the short trip to Abu Dhabi, the Mavericks will most likely focus on improving the chemistry of their roster ahead of the new season.
After missing the NBA play-in tournament last season, the Mavericks will most likely play with a chip on their shoulder to prove doubters wrong.
While the Mavs didn’t have a huge offseason, they did re-sign Irving to a three-year deal.
Irving’s return to the team will allow Doncic to focus on aspects of his game other than scoring.
Doncic is no doubt the team’s best scorer, but even he can get exhausted throughout the long NBA season.
