Matthew Stafford’s NFL career has been something of a whirlwind.
He started as a member of the Detroit Lions, becoming their franchise quarterback and a beloved figure within the organization.
Despite being well-liked and racking up strong personal statistics, the Lions couldn’t seem to get in the win column often.
This was seemingly frustrating for Stafford and the fanbase, who felt like they had what it took to compete.
After many years, Stafford moved on to the Los Angeles Rams, where he ended up winning his first Super Bowl ring.
Stafford has played well in his new home and continues to put the Rams in position to win every game he’s under center.
The Rams are coming off an emotional overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks, an impressive accomplishment in its own right.
It’s not the only accomplishment that was achieved in this game, as J.B. Long highlighted on X.
According to Long, Stafford is now tied with Eli Manning for 10th on the NFL’s all-time list for touchdown passes.
Matthew Stafford ties Eli Manning for 10th in NFL history with his 366th career touchdown pass, and it was a memorable one: 39 yards to Demarcus Robinson for the Rams overtime win in Seattle to get to 4-4.

This 366th touchdown was the game-clincher, a 39-yarder to Demarcus Robinson.
Stafford is cemented in Lions history, and he’s already made a name for himself in Rams history as well.
This stat puts him in the top 10 in league history for a key statistic, which should cement his place as a Hall of Famer.
Stafford’s career isn’t done yet, and he’s hoping to win one more Super Bowl ring by the time he hangs up his cleats.
Can the surging Rams fight for a spot in the Super Bowl down the stretch?
