Had it not been for two plays, the Green Bay Packers could very well be 4-0 at the moment.
The first play came against the Cleveland Browns, where the Packers had a chip-shot field goal blocked, killing their momentum and letting the Browns get back in the game.
The second was against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, where they not only had an extra point blocked, but it was returned by Dallas, giving them two points.
Those two points didn’t seem like much at the time, but it was enough ammo for the Cowboys to gain some confidence and help them regain focus in the second half.
Matt LaFleur called out the special teams unit in a recent press conference shared by reporter Ryan Wood on X, saying, “If we can just clean up those catastrophic errors, which is a big if, I’m confident we’ll be in a much better spot.”

Fans and analysts alike have called out special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, wanting him to do a better job moving forward.
If these woes continue after their much-needed Week 5 bye, it could be the beginning of the end of Bisaccia’s time with the team.
The Packers’ special teams unit has been a point of concern for years, despite being solid on offense and defense.
While it isn’t always viewed as the most important part of an organization, as the focus is placed on offense and defense, it is crucial down the stretch, especially in close games.
If their special teams unit had been more cohesive, the Packers could be sitting at 4-0, and fans would be looking at this team a lot differently.
