The Green Bay Packers desperately needed a victory. They had lost two games in a row, and while injuries had plenty to do with that, play-calling and poor execution also got in their way several times.
Following their Week 11 game, head coach Matt LaFleur revealed his thoughts on the win against the New York Giants.

The Packers escaped by intercepting Jameis Winston to secure a triumph that shouldn’t have been as difficult as it was.
Starting running back Josh Jacobs suffered a knee injury. Though he’s reportedly not looking at a long-term absence, his status for Green Bay’s Week 12 game against the Minnesota Vikings is in doubt.
Quarterback Jordan Love also had to leave the game for a bit to tend to an injury to his non-throwing shoulder, and backup Malik Willis led the team on a touchdown drive. Though it doesn’t sound like Love is in danger of missing time, Willis could get a spot start if that’s the case.
Wide receiver Christian Watson was the hero of the day with two acrobatic touchdown grabs, taking a big leap as the possible primary pass catcher with tight end Tucker Kraft out for the season. It was a much-needed effort because Romeo Doubs dropped two crucial passes.
LaFleur’s hot seat cooled off a bit. However, things can turn sour again when the Packers host the Vikings in an NFC North clash.
