The Baltimore Ravens are off to a 3-2 start, and some feel they may have an outside chance of getting to the Super Bowl this winter, especially with some of the unexpected developments that have taken place in the AFC.
Their offense, especially their passing offense, may still be a bit lacking, but their defense has been leading the way, as it historically has for them over the years when they’ve been successful.
They currently rank second in points and total yards allowed, even though cornerback Marlon Humphrey wasn’t able to make his season debut until this past Sunday due to a foot injury.
He admitted that some players around the NFL have contacted him to ask the Ravens to acquire them in a trade, per Dov Kleiman.
#Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey says NFL players have already called him to get him to ask the team to trade for them.
Marlon says one of the players that came to him did it in pregame this year… Marlon only played the #Steelers this year…

The Ravens could be one significant trade away from joining the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the class of elite teams in the AFC.
Perhaps their biggest need is one more game-changing wide receiver who would give quarterback Lamar Jackson another bona fide threat in the air.
Right now, Baltimore’s main threat in the passing game is rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers, who has 317 yards through five games.
However, only one of their other wideouts has as many as 100 receiving yards on the season.
Veteran Odell Beckham Jr., who was signed to a sizable one-year contract during the offseason, has mustered just 79 yards in three games, and he missed Week 3 and Week 4 due to an ankle injury before leaving Week 5’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers with another apparent injury.
